No fresh roadkill on my local bike route. Did pick up $11 abandoned by the roadside this morning, but that can't count as roadkill because it still seems to be viable.
Sunny, temperatures in the 60s F, no wind. Usual suspects sighted in the botany world -- lupines, daisies, vetch, buttercups, yellow hawkweed.
The minor good news: email from Nice Agent Lady, apparently there will be a French edition of WINTER OAK at some point in the future. This counts as "found money" and is, as such, desirable. Not as desirable as a US sale of one of those forlorn homeless manuscripts out wandering the mean streets of NYC, but we take what we can get.
