The proof of the pudding is in the . . . reading?

Going through page proofs on DRAGON'S TEETH.  Since the discerning reader would judge from my current icon that DRAGON'S TEETH has existed in book form since last year, this would be the set of proofs for the mass-market edition.  Since the discerning and cogitating reader would then deduce that I have done page proofs on it before, I am not finding much to change...

However, the typist who entered the "front matter" (quotes from reviews and such) has managed to insert four typos into the first sheet.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, I have removed another dead stub from the rowan tree and cut it up into lengths compatible with the trash barrel.  Also have sprayed poison on the miscellaneous green stuff poking up through cracks in our driveway.

Of such thrills are weekends made.  And LJ posts.

Regarding Paris at the razorwire Hilton

If some tattooed butch murders poor little rich girl in the slammer, what does society lose?  Nominate the corpse for a Darwin Award and truck on.
