Dank outside, dim, temperatures in the 50s with occasional drizzle and the threat of "showers" -- missed out on yesterday's fun with 1" hail and wind gusts over 60 mph, details from southern Maine and New Hampshire.

The bike ride is in doubt.  And I only have about 200 miles logged so far, not impressive figures by any count.

Sunday roadkill report

One flat woodchuck over on Hammond Street, near the Interstate.

Weather remains gray and cool and iffy, but we all know about those addictive exercise endorphins.  I decided that I could head across to the airport and never be more than a few minutes from cover, in case of predicted "showers", and never further than about 4 miles from home and warm and dry clothes. 

Lilacs nearing full bloom, getting to the point where their perfume can be overwhelming.
