Annual "Older, grayer, scarcer" post

Yeah, went out to the local amateur radio get-together ("hamfest") this morning, after putting out the trash that had me twitchy all yesterday.

As usual, fewer people but more gray hair.  No interesting junk (IE 'treasures") to bring home, which will please Wife.  Did see a few people who hadn't died over winter.  Several had.

Drove upriver yesterday to visit the Traveling Wall* and salute a couple of names out of the distant past.  That venue was older, grayer, and scarcer, too.

One bite at a time

Carved another trash-barrel's worth of dead limb out of the sideyard rowan this afternoon.  Thus do we dismantle our elephant and send it off for trash-to-energy conversion.
