Tuesday roadkill report
Apr. 24th, 2007 04:31 pmOne porcupine corpse, reasonably fresh, up by Lou Silver's, one muskrat pretty well mummified near the horse farm.
Also, one live woodchuck at the horse farm. I think that's the first I've seen this spring.
I decided that the wind was decreasing, and besides, I was pacing the floor and scratching at the door. Or maybe that was Nikita The Cat, next door. Anyway, did go out for that ride. Up to the country club and back, headwinds both ways, besides being uphill both ways. (Actually a crosswind, which is maybe worse on a bike on a busy road.)
