Probably should make note of that, with forecasts of gloomy, chilly, wet, the "s" word (snow, minimal tonight and tomorrow, maybe significant later in the week.) April in Maine, _not_, I am afraid, an April Fool's joke. Unless you count the entire month as a joke for purposes of New England weather.
Which might not be a bad idea. I recall providing radio communications for our local canoe race, Patriots' Day*, in a driving snowstorm.
Probably should snatch a bike ride this afternoon, with the above warnings hanging over our heads. Problem is, I've been feeling rather iffy the last few days. Some kind of sinus problem, with enough ick draining down my throat to affect my stomach. More than you really wanted to know, right?
Have a pot of beef vegetable soup meditating on the stove for lunch.
