More weather
Mar. 16th, 2007 08:54 amThat's normal for Maine, of course. We never get _less_ weather.
Chilly this morning, temperature down around 10 F with a stiff wind. Winter has not surrendered or retreated.
Current forecast is for a major snowstorm, turning to rain along the coast. Maybe over 2' of snow in "The County" -- extreme northern and eastern part of the state -- and the western mountains. Maybe 6" along the immediate coastal areas, due to that changeover, which means that the 6" will weigh more and be harder to remove than 2' of fluff...
And just when we had bare ground showing. And curbs. Don't forget the curbs.
Meanwhile, I'm trying to figure out if I can write a short story. That's a totally different skill-set than a novel.
