Hot time in the old town tonight
Dec. 18th, 2006 01:15 pmWell, that will change. We've been having warm weather -- overnight lows for the last couple of days have been at or above our average _high_ for the days in question. The Weather God's Priests are now saying we shall return to normalcy over the next couple of days, which does _not_ threaten the record lows I can recall from our tenure. Like, -20 F on Christmas Day, with highs that didn't break into positive degrees F...
Met with the client on that new downtown project, the pigeon-free zone. She has taken some of my advice to heart, and we will change two "studio" apartments into one two-bedroom unit. That cuts her unit total, and therefore theoretical rent income, but two units you can't rent don't actually pay more than one you _can_.
Maybe someday I'll get back to writing POWERS.
