Ambition should be made of sterner stuff
Dec. 17th, 2006 10:42 amWorking on the EPA Laundry floor plans again. Note to world: downside of being self-employed with a home office -- weekends don't exist. Anyway, this should be the last pass on the concept plans for _that_ one, after which the engineers get to play with all the reasons why I should have put the walls in other places. Tough. That's the pecking order here, architects get first dibs.
Gray morning. I don't know if this means we have moved into the "north and mountains" part of the weather forecast, and can expect snow showers instead of liquid, or if it's just the sea effect of a southwest wind coming up the river.
Will go for another walk, assuming whatever precipitation we actually _get_ holds off.
Swiped some trimmed balsam boughs from the curbside yesterday, to add proper seasonal smells to the house. Maybe that will placate the sun god -- a token sacrifice added to our fake solstice tree.
