And yet again, not raining
Nov. 24th, 2006 12:50 pmI do not believe we have had any measurable precip this week. I think that represents a first for the season, if not the year.
Visited the pigeon loft again this morning. That column I mentioned last week, the one that looked like it might be important? Still in place. Contractor now has a cunning plan to insert a couple of new laminated beams...
Other than that, the job progresses. I can again reach the top floor without climbing ladders, which my knees consider a desirable state of affairs.
Tried poking at POWERS a bit this morning. The possible first draft of the possible first chapter now has something called the Atlantic Confederation and no recognizable brand names, all denoting a hint that We're Not Quite In Kansas, Dorothy Dear. Still has the demon accepting a beer, though, dark ale with enough character to stand up to that rye bread sandwich.
