Thursday no-roadkill report
Nov. 9th, 2006 02:41 pm(Does the road count as roadkill? Water up to the edge of the pavement, out in the bog. And the downstream shoulder had several washouts from the previous overflow.)
The rain stopped, our temperature skyrocketed up to 60 F reported on the noon news, so I hopped back on the bike. Didn't even wait for the roads to dry off, on the theory that they might get wetter before they _did_ get dry...
And again, this may be the last bike ride of the year. We'll see. Maine Novembers can produce ski weather. Like, the _highs_ a couple of days back barely reached freezing up in the North Country, and large areas reported 2"-3" of snow on the ground.
