And yet more weather...
Oct. 5th, 2006 02:08 pmBreezy today, as advertised, temperature at last check 58 F out front. Not bicycle weather. Maybe tomorrow. Or not -- still forecast chilly, but with less wind. Long range forecast offers hope for a Sunday ride.
More trees turning locally. The Tuesday drive reminded me that we deal in micro-climates here, with the river and bay keeping our town warmer, and the higher elevations betwixt here and Bah Habbuh showing more extreme weather. Much more color in the "mountains" than at either end of the drive.
("Mountains" because the highest elevation tops out at a little over 1000' -- mere molehills to some of you folks. But that's from sea level, so you notice it.)
Business phone still not delivering the needed calls. Just got a junk fax instead, New! Health! Plan! for as low as $89.95 per month. No company name...
Gripes the hell out of me, not just getting ads but having to pay for the paper and ink to print them.
