Started to get out for a bike ride this morning, as tomorrow's weather seems...questionable.  Then I looked at the thermometer, 10:00 AM +/-, and saw mid 50s F.  With wind ruffling the (still green) leaves.  That is not warm enough for an end-of-summer ride.  Spring, maybe, when I'm still wallowing in the mental mire of snow and ice.

So, we'll see what tomorrow brings.  Or maybe this afternoon, if I waive my red-blooded American right to Saturday college football.

Of such earth-shaking decisions is my life made.

Speaking of earth-shaking, we've had a couple of minor earthquakes in the last few weeks.  Richter 2.5 to 3.5, nothing you California types would even notice.  But they serve as a reminder that New England and the rest of the east coast _can_ have damaging quakes.  One hit Boston, back in colonial days, and likewise Charleston, SC.

I don't know if we ever reached 60 F out there, but who knows what tomorrow will bring?  I saddled up and rode across town to the airport and didn't freeze to death.  And now I shall watch football.
