System maintenance
Jun. 5th, 2006 01:36 pmEye appointment this morning, everything seems same-same from last appointment except a faint tweak on the prescription. None of the various ocular ills that have shown up in Sister or Parent in the past. However, many monies for new glasses anyway, as the old critters is getting flat wore out.
Still raining then, but signs and portents of a possible clearing now. Which is about damned time, as the prophets told us we'd get to dry out yesterday. More rain forecast for later in the week.
About 2/3 through reviewing SIGNATURES for the second pass, trying to read it as a book. Some places I have to add in stuff, such as more detail on what a medical mess crushing injuries can make of fiddly little bits of human. Like feet, for example. I'm not doing it just for the ick factor, but because of actual relevance to the plot and characters.
