Speaking of tales

Got an email offer from a guy this morning, not really spam, he has a book on the preliminary Nebula ballot and as I am a fully-paid member of SFWA I get to vote. Not politicking -- he would like to send me a copy of the book so that I can make an informed choice.

Howsomever, the sending he proposes is PDF email. Now, I'm on dialup here. Downloading a couple of pages of PDF takes a while. A whole novel????

I think I'll remain ignorant. I'm used to the territory. I have friends there.
