Gales again overnight, things howling and thumping and rattling around the perimeter of our aged fortress. Colder this morning, sunshiny but highs supposed to reach freezing or thereabouts. But the wind has died down. Don't know if They still have small-craft advisories posted, that's sort of permanent in winter along the Maine coast, but we'll take this.

Added words to SIGNATURES this morning, fat wizard headed out into the city to wander around and maybe find something he wants and something he doesn't want. We'll see. I'm a little past 1/3 into the story, 30K + words, so I have to persecute the guy for a while yet before we get to the car chase and explosions....
