Snow

Light fluffy stuff again, amount as yet indeterminate. The weather-mavens keep waffling on this one. First they thought we'd get it, then they thought it would pass south and out to sea, then they revised that to a dusting, then a minor accumulation, now they talk of maybe 10" to the southern counties and 4-6" here. Computer models have so much fun with chaotic systems.

This would remain academic were it not for Wife's need to plow through the stuff to the nature center and back. And, as I've mentioned before, her need to share the road with idiots....

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, someone sinister is about to try to kill my wizard.

Storm has departed, headed off Barnstead-wards, leaving maybe 3" of snow gleaming under the waxing moon. Wife drove home early with no alarums or excursions.

The Xmas lights on the neighbor hedge gain a bit of magic from shining through their snow cover.

And Robert Sheckley has died. He told some good stories.
