(This is a matter of some note for Our Month To Date.)

I've been playing around with a GPS (Global Positioning Service) unit that Wife brought home from the nature center. (It followed me home, Mommy. Can I keep it?) Apparently the fool electronics need a bit of a wake-up call -- the tracker showed two different routes for my morning newspaper walk, even though I go out and back on identical stretches of pavement. .1 miles for the walk _to_ the Big Apple store, .3 miles _back_. The latter figure agrees with my bike odometer.

Not sure I'm prepared to rely on sat-track navigation to bring me home from the depths of the Great North Woods.

And, in sewer project news, the excavator has removed the end of our driveway bright and early this Monday morning. We are supposed to achieve pavement this week. Any bets?
