Once the fog burned off. Another "fog down in the river valley" walk, with the streets disappearing into gray while I walked in sunshine. May get a bike ride today. May also get the lawn mowed -- green and shaggy seems to be the "in" look.

The city road crew has done their thing and vanished, leaving peace (and a rather un-level surface) in their wake. We'll see how long until the first potholes develop.

Cover and cover copy for DRAGON'S EYE have appeared magically on my web page. Go, thou, and increase my hit count.

We have now established a run of five hours of consecutive sunshine. This may represent a first for the month of May.

Warning to you youngsters (most of the internet, it seems) -- getting old is a drag. Push and push and push on the bike ride, up hill, down hill, on the flat. Get home, check the bike computer, and I've slashed a whole 30 seconds off the route. Still four minutes over the time I'd get a few years back.

At least today's run takes me over 200 miles for the season.
