Feb. 7th, 2005 11:08 amGot in something over a thousand words this morning, introducing The Bitch to Grendel's Mom. Bitch wants to dissect Monster, feeling is reciprocal. We'll see if they can come to a negotiated settlement....
Temperatures above average again today, but "They" still forecast colder and a full Nor'easter for later in the week. Hey, when I said that we need more snow, I had moderation in mind. Four inches, maybe, or six, not a foot or two. Just enough to cover the ice on the ski trails...
Folks keep talking about the New England Patriots and "dynasty" after yesterday's so-called Super Bowl. Sure, they keep figuring out a way to squeak out a win, but it looks more like a string of "heads" in coin-tossing -- so many games over the last four years decided by a field goal, pure luck and the funny way that footballs bounce make the difference between greatness and just above average.
