Need more snow

Last go-round skiing at the City Forest this morning, the track icy enough to be dangerous. Temperatures predicted into the 40s F again today and then freezing overnight, so surfaces will only get worse. We're supposed to have a storm Thursday +/-, with colder weather, so maybe after that....

Maybe if I can't ski, I'll write. I know the next part and the next, but applying butt to chair hasn't happened. And I need to do some critiques for the email group -- problem is, the stories don't interest me that much. It's that taste thing again, above and beyond any quality of writing and storytelling. Different kinds of tale appeal to different people.

4 miles, 55 minutes, three voluntary falls to avoid skidding off the trail into the trees. Whee!
