Frostbite city
Dec. 27th, 2004 01:06 pmTemperature about 10 F at noon, with winds of 20-30 mph. I _so_ enjoyed clearing the driveway and steps. Two hours later, and my fingers still feel stiff and swollen.
_And_ we only got about 3" of snow, on top of bare ground. No skiing.
I hope Comair/Delta get their little computer problems solved -- family units are due to depart at Oh-God-thirty tomorrow morning, via flights that were canceled today.
I can't offer any useful comments on the tsunami deaths. The scale just escapes me. Probably escapes the governments involved, as well -- thousands of people will have died who never existed in the first place, bodies never found or, if found, never claimed or identified.
