Amused detachment

Watching the morning commuters out in freezing drizzle, me tucked up in the house with a warm computer and a warmer radiator.

Net accumulation of precip so far totals maybe an inch, inch and a half. But you know how it is with the average driver. Give 'em a coffee break and you have to retrain 'em. Nobody remembers how to drive on snow and ice.

The word for the day is "slow."

Preparing the Way

Driveway, anyway. And we have achieved cars, and front and side steps (the former too late for the postman, alas, but he's tough) and the mixed precip will recommence shortly to make a mockery of our efforts.

But I'm sure it qualifies as exercise, within the legal definition.
