Bleah

Well, everybody else on LJ seems to be sick, why not me? It's that meme thing, you know.

Not serious, just couldn't persuade myself that breakfast was a good idea this morning. So far the coffee has stayed down. And I have managed to stay upright enough to type.

Bleah outside as well, rain mixed with snow, wind, supposed to last all day. We are not scheduled to get actual accumulation here, too close to the coast, but the mountains and north woods should receive 6 to 10 inches of the stuff. Maybe I'll get to go skiing sometime, after all.

Whoosh rattle splash

Well, the promised wind and rain materialized. The sound effects noted above represent one of the costs of the older house, with drafts stirring the curtains and the sash rattling in their frames. I'm more alarmed at the occasional _thump_, as we don't _know_ of anything loose outside....

Oh, and I omitted the gurgle of the basement drain.
