Had to drive to Waterville on a project this afternoon. Was mildly disturbed to see ice on the Sebasticook River on the way. Now, I'd expected ice on the farm ponds and marshes, after all, morning lows were near 10 F some areas. But on moving water?

Coming back after dark, I managed to avoid any close encounters of the ungulate kind. Couple of deer browsing along the interstate, but they stayed out of my radiator. And no moose spotted. Driving in Maine can be entertaining.
