Itchy, but virtuous
Nov. 3rd, 2004 04:43 pmSpent much of the afternoon in our basement, insulating pipes. Remember all that asbestos we had removed? Well, I have replaced it with jacketed fiberglass. Which had to be fitted, three-foot piece by three-foot piece, in four different diameters, and cut in around all the connectors, fittings, and hangers.
But more heat will henceforth come upstairs, where the people stay, and we'll waste less heat on the spiders. And my hands will probably itch for days.
In other words, life goes on -- just do the next thing and the next after that. And wonder what would have happened if the Dems had offered a candidate with more going for him than anti-Bush....
No more politics.
