The joys of insomnia
Jun. 18th, 2004 07:40 amAwake at 3:00 AM, gave up and got up before 4:00. Around here, that is first light. Quiet, birds waking up, no skunks.
Coffee.
And I think I've figured out how to graft those three buildings together. The differing floor elevations have been giving me fits, with four floors of one end not quite equalling three floors of the middle. Now we'll hear from the owner about how the plan doesn't meet his objectives, from the contractor about how he can't cut walls and floor structure like that, and from Code Enforcement about how that doesn't _really_ meet the exiting requirements....
But the alternatives look worse.
