Friday metal bird report

Got run over by a C5A on final approach as I biked across the end of our runway. Loud. Also, a convention of KC135s seemed to be going on. Four parked at the visitor's lot, only one of them local, and one taxiing for takeoff as I pedaled along.
Nothing new in the floral department, except vast hordes of the purple loosestrife. Time to call in an airstrike.
Rode across town, out past the airport/base (see above), over some hills and home. Warm but not horrible out there. Did not die.
