As of yesterday the census, which I have just completed my training for, is offering bonus money for overtime, so there is hope the count will really get finished by September 30. Since I have a Real Job I won't have a chance at any overtime, but lots of people will.

Interesting. Our daughter-in-law was going to do field canvassing for the census and has informed us that the job is off. This is in upstate NY, so they may have a different situation.

When the follow-up counting is over, there is no more work. Maybe NY got farther ahead than we are.
