In other news, both times I went for my neighborhood walks (alone, Wife currently languishing under a migraine), cats accosted me and demanded attention. Apparently their people have failed in the obligation of worship, dropping that responsibility upon my shoulders. If you have a cat, folks, or several, do your duty. Don't depend on random strangers passing by. Dark will be your fate when the Cat God comes in wrath....

oh, puh-leeze. my two are soooooo neglected. Nobody EVER looks at them, talks to them, feeds them or cleans their litteboxes. Or so they would have you believe. The truth of course is that I am at their beck and call and there is not a single thing that those animals have wanted for, all of their born days. They are spoiled and pampered like nobody's business.

bring it on, Cat God. Just don't believe the whining from the feline peanut gallery.
