Wednesday semi-roadkill report

One tattered and desiccated gray squirrel on my route, probably several weeks dead. Winter's supply of roadside trash and bits of vehicle. Spring roads get ugly.

Earliest Japanese magnolias blooming, coltsfoot, trout-lily leaves but no blooms yet. Juneberry/shadbush buds swelling. Maples blooming.

Got out on the bike, enjoying the reduced traffic with our economic collapse. Did not die.
