The other face of autumn in New England

Raining and chilly today, temperatures in the 40s F (7 C +/-). Couple of inches of rain so far, with flood watches and warnings spread throughout the state. I think I shall vegetate in front of some TV football games.

Well, it's a little warmer here down in the tropical south, but the rain is being very enthusiastic. I hate driving in rain or in the dark and driving in the rain in the dark is about the worst.
I also hate driving over high bridges. So naturally, last night I had to pick up my son at 10 PM in the pouring rain and having to cross the bridge over the neck between Great Bay and Little Bay.
College Football is beginning to sond good.
