jhetleySometimes I think I'll trade this house for a dog and shoot the dog. Served my time on the front porch paint job, smudging primer on spindles and columns and such, put the ladders and stuff away, and one of the springs on the garage door broke as I was closing up. I said various bad words, ate lunch, and went for a shortish bike ride over to the airport and back. Nice day out there, sunny and cool and no wind and very little traffic. Too bad I wasn't out in the country or on the carriage trails at Acadia.
Anyway, came back, worked an S-hook into the coils of the spring and bent a few things so it wouldn't come out again, restrung the spring, and the door works again. Until the next fuck-up.
