Gray, light showers so far, more considerable rain forecast for later. We shall see. The sewer contractors again have us bracketed, with Wife refusing repeated offers of a ride to her various Monday chores because of the heavy equipment brigade. So she's off walking to this and that. Saves gasoline, I guess...

God (or whatever) help us if the fire department or ambulance has business on this street.
