Sunday roadkill report

Actually very little roadkill to list. A few specimens of squirrel (red, gray, and chipmunk all represented) plastered across the asphalt, a couple of flat garter snakes, and some porcupine shreds really too old to count.
A tad chilly at the start, wore my Polartec vest for the first five miles until the frost thawed (hyperbole alert) but otherwise gorgeous day. If you discount the wind in my face on all three legs of the triangle route...
Got passed twice by a couple on a tandem bike, first time I've seen one of those in the wild. Yeah, they were faster than me. Damn well should be, with twice the horsepower and higher hull speed.
