Standing in the crowd, listening to Danu at the music festival, I noticed a squadron of dragonflies working the airspace for mosquitoes. And I thought, "Isn't that 'shooting over a baited field?'"

And these were the B-52 versions, late-summer skeeter-muncher monsters. Judging by direct comparison out at the nature center, some of them get as big as the hummingbirds.
