Contractor's crew is whanging away with a jackhammer on the two-day-old pavement out front. Oh joy, oh rapture! And Wife and I spotted a sinkhole in said pavement a couple of houses up the street, where the fill dropped a foot or so. Really makes you confident about the driving experience...
