Recharging

Rainy morning, have to pump the humidity back up. Now the sun will come out, and billowing steam will rise from the pavement, and we get back into the 80s again tomorrow.

You get steam when it's only in the 80s? That's like...spring time weather.

This is Maine. Average high at this point (according to NWS statistics) is approx. 80 F. Our problem, should you choose to accept it, has been that this year we have been achieving our average by alternating highs in the 60s with highs in the 90s. Gets a little rough on the internal thermostat...

Nonetheless, I shall bicycle today, early, before the heat gets even worse.

Maine is weird, huh? So all I know about Maine (aside from Stephen King books.."Nor'easter?") is that you ride your bike in the morning and smell dead skunks. Quite a visual picture you're painting in my head, LOL
