Obligatory daily post

jhetleyI took a (mild)(non-binding)(no penalty clause) oath that I'd post _something_ every day, no matter how boring. "The only bad publicity is no publicity" sort of thing. This is one of those posts.
Weather is non-committal, with clouds and sun and not exactly hot but not exactly cool either, humidity rising, chance of thunderstorms depending on where "they" move our town around within the state. Re-reading some sections of WINTER OAK so I get the backstory and descriptions consistent -- we return to the labyrinth in the cellar, and I'd rather not contradict established "facts" in the new work. Neighbor on one side has house up for sale, new neighbor on other side is getting a new roof. Heavy trucks wander past on a regular basis, part of the Sewer Project From Hell that will engulf our street in another few weeks.
Nothing more happening here, move along....
