Back on the climatic seesaw

Temperatures today projected for the low 90s F. Last week, we had highs in the low 60s. I'd like the weather gods to make up their (hypothetical) minds.

Think I have Chapter 1 tied up enough for rough-draft purposes, now to revise Chapters 2 & 3 to make them fit the beginning of PENDRAGON AUTUMN rather than the ending of WINTER OAK. Backstory time in the wordsmith forge, plus the opening shots in Brian's emancipation from the Pendragons.

Mailed the DRAGON'S EYE proofs back to Ace. I _hope_ they're providing backup on the typos that both Wife and I missed. I'm a lousy proofreader on stuff I wrote -- I know what the text is _supposed_ to say....

While I appreciate your generous offer, I'm not sure the publisher would allow the additional review time necessary to waft the paper to and from your remote location from my remote location. Plus, the USPS already gets too many chances to lose the damned things....

I'm the same way - sometimes quite beyond simple typos.
