The remains of tropical storm Cindy wander the Gulf of Maine, all forlorn and wondering where all that nice warm water has gone. We have rain. And more rain.

Speaking of tropical storms and hurricanes, I was amused that the TV weathercasters skipped neatly over Cuba in discussing Dennis. They mentioned Jamaica, then talked about the Florida Keys. Nothing about this largish island in between . . .

Only important for washing out the cages in the Gitmo Zoo, I guess.

These were the TV weather guys on 2 and 5 yesterday evening. The dingbat on 7 didn't even mention the hurricane....

Noon news today _did_ mention Cuba, in passing. They've forgotten about Jamaica already.
