Yet another proof that attack is a lot cheaper and easier than defense. The cycle maintains a certain morbid resonance -- Menachem Begin and his crew started the game by blowing up the King David Hotel back in the days of Palestine, the IRA looked upon the resulting British deaths and called them good, the PLO learned from the IRA, et cetera ad nauseum.

And US Homeland Security wants me to believe that they've got my back....
