jhetleyOr fog, or whatever -- temperatures in the 70s F and dewpoint the same. Went for my bike ride and had to swab the stuff off my glasses now and then. But not actually _rain_, mind you, and too thin to really call it drizzle or fog. Just miserable useless stuff, only suitable for keeping the humidity up.
Have to haul the bike's front wheel over to the shop this afternoon. Broken spoke, snapped off right at the hub rivet bend, prime metal fatigue spot. We shall hope this doesn't signal the start of a trend. Our roads constitute a torture test for any vehicle, bicycle or Mack truck, and that bike has somewhere over 7000 miles on it. Had to replace the rear wheel for fatigue cracks this spring, but the front rim looks okay.
No writing for a couple of days now, will have to get serious at some point. The Nice Editor Lady just sent me an email warning of incoming page proofs for DRAGON'S EYE, so I have a pending excuse...
