More heat

Back into the steam bath today, after a (relative) respite yesterday. Temperatures in the mid to upper 80s F, with dewpoints over 70. Now the weather mavens are pushing relief off to Saturday afternoon, with dryer air after that. _May_ get a bike ride in tomorrow morning while the fog blocks the sun.

Your weather is worse than Central Texas! We're at 91F with a dewpoint of 61, heat index of 92, humidity of 35%, and a weak breeze of 9MPH. We've also gone 28 days without a drop of rain and have burn bans effective in most counties in the region. Of course, people will ignore the bans and still set off fireworks. I expect to hear of quite a few brush fires this weekend.

Well, we reached an official high of 90 F, thunderstorms this evening, didn't cool the place down more than a couple of degrees while ensuring that the humidity actually went friggin' _up_. I'd move to Texas if it wasn't so damned full of Texans....
