Sunday roadkill report

One muskrat, one red squirrel, several gray squirrels, and one woodchuck. Roadkill supply is looking up . . . with blank eyes.

Butter-and-eggs blooming, mulleins, rabbit-foot clover, still phlox and daisies and the plague of purple loosestrife.

Slathered on the sunblock and got out on the bike, upriver to my eagle overlook, no eagles, then across the river and down the other side. Did not die.
