Oscillating

jhetleyThe temperature hit 88 F here today. Last week we had highs barely reaching 50 F. For Monday, "they" are predicting 50s again. I _wish_ the weather PTBs would make up their minds.
(Yes, they made up their minds in May -- decided on rain. Hey, the moss and fern garden is doing fine...)
Did get the hamfest and the lawn both done. As expected, the hamfest crowd was thinner this year than last, and the prevailing hair color grayer. I passed up the chance to acquire some of the boat-anchors offered for sale.
Lawnmower is being a bastard -- symptoms are a fuel line clog. It runs, sputters, I shake it, it runs some more. I pulled the line, drained the tank, blew through the line to the carburetor. Still sputters. I'll probably buy a can of fuel line cleaner and run a cap-full or two through, see if that de-gums the carb. If not, the thing is 10 or 15 years old, not worth the price of fixing.
