Friday vernal report

First yellow water-lily blooms in the cemetery pond, small patch of orange hawkweed out near the bog. Probable winterberry blossoms, but too far off the road for positive bike-botany ID.

No identifiable roadkill, although several bloody spots of asphalt of about squirrel or woodchuck size.

Rain stopped, roads dried off, temperature above 60 F. Got out on the bike. Did not die.
