Tuesday vernal report

First white moccasin-flower/lady-slipper orchids seen, bunchberry, buttercups taking over the horse-pasture, lupines both purple and pink. Rhododendron and spirea blooming in town. Oaks and poplars dropping their blossoms.
No roadkill. Last week's deer has vanished, no way to know if it became coyote pups or venison chili.
Warm and breezy, got out on the bike, did not die.
