Wild calla and rhodora flowers in the bog, first Canada mayflower, cultivated apples starting to bloom while the ornamentals are dropping petals.
Roadkill list -- gray squirrel, red squirrel, chipmunk, and woodchuck. One live woodchuck seen out at the cemetery and gray tree frogs trilling near an upland vernal pool. Whole group of red-wings harassing a crow that was down among the cattails, presumable active nest-thief.
Got out on the bike, more wind than I would have preferred. Did not die.
