Money money money Money!
Apr. 4th, 2005 11:02 amCheck arrived from Nice Agent Lady, larger than anticipated. Keep those cards and letters coming in, folks. And no, I did not understand the statements -- all six pages thereof. No income from WINTER OAK yet, only two month's sales on that to set against the advance, and no credit yet for the SFBC rights. We shall see if that suffers from Second Book Syndrome.
Goldfinches getting yellower by the day, chickadees look spiffy in their new feathers, and even the downy woodpecker looks like he is working on a fresh spring outfit.
Rainy still, showers rather than continuous, and the rivers should crest today. No major flooding, but some roads washed out per usual. The "media" get all excited, but this would be a standard-issue mud season so far. Still some snow on the ground in the back and side yards, particularly areas shaded from the afternoon sun. Can get to the compost bin again, so we return to being environmentally responsible consumers.
